Aurora Theater shooting: “Mentally Ill”, no talk of religion in the media.
Sandy Hook shooting: “Mentally Ill”, no talk of religion in the media.
Boston Marathon bombing: Muslim, large talk of religion in the media, no mention of mental illness
Lets not continue to vilify and generalize the Muslim community. Just be tolerant and respectful of everyone’s beliefs. It’s really not hard. Lets leave religion out of it. There’s good people and there’s bad people. That’s where the line should be drawn.
When looked at from this angle, you can see that the Boston Cowboy is holding a tourniquet to keep the runner form bleeding out. That is a hero. That is a true hero.
I know that I’m the worst when it comes to trying to make light of things to avoid dealing with them, but let’s just take a moment to appreciate how this man responded to the gravity of the situation into which he was placed.
We may not know why the bomber chose to target the Boston Marathon, but we can take comfort in knowing that there are noble men in this world who would risk their own safety to help fellow victims of this tragedy.
let this photograph remind you of how real this is. This is raw right here, don’t avoid it because it hurts to look at, embrace it, because one day, you might be in this situation needing to save someones life. In a do or die situation, what would you do? I hope more people would be like this noble man and risk their own lives to save others. It’s a pleasure to see that there are real super heroes out there, walking our very streets.
On a side note, 31 people died today in Iraq due to bombings similar to this one. We should notice how something like this effects us, and remember that things like this are happening in other countries every. single. day. What happened in Boston was a tragedy, but we should never forget that humans, regardless of what soil they live on, should never have this happen to them. In America, or Iraq.

It’s so good. But disturbing.
The “You didn’t hit it.” golfball/dog scene is awesome.
